Pontus & Lizette

Pontus and Lizette started dancing together 1999 when they were both about to be 10 years old. They started to compete in Boogie Woogie,
and about 2 years later also Lindy Hop. Since then they have been competing in both these dances and evolved an interest overall about dance, and nowadays a lot of their free time goes to dance in all its form. During the years they've been competing, they amongst other gained 1st place in the Swedish- and the World Championship in Boogie Woogie Junior. And twice 4th place Lindy Hop Championship Main Class which one of them is a 3rd place in the Showcase Division.
In 2008 they moved from their hometown Borås to Stockholm for different but similar reasons. Pontus started working with the Harlem Hot Shots, and Lizette took a dance education at "The Ballet Academy".
They are still competing, and teaching around Sweden and the World. They both believe strongly in individuality
and to evolve every dancer in his or her own direction. However they
think it is important to have the right rhythm and feeling that results
in the term: Swing dancing.
